Lawn Maintenance

Lawn maintenance programs by Season's Landscaping help to keep lawns in their peak condition all year; which not only beautifies but also safeguards your investment. Our programs consist of routine maintenance enhanced by seasonal applications of fertilization and other services. No matter what services are chosen, residential and commercial lawns will look beautiful and healthy, conveying a sense of elegance, professionalism, and sophistication.

Lawn Mowing & Edging
Our weekly mowing service is the most important aspect to the lawn maintenance program. Our mowing team will keep your lawn looking neatly trimmed and preserve pristine conditions throughout the cutting season. Included in the mowing program is manual trimming, which keeps grass level around obstacles such as walls, signs, and posts and maintains a crisp edge along beds, sidewalks, and paths. All grass clippings are removed from streets, walkways, and driveways after cutting to maintain those pristine conditions.

Lawn Treatments
Aeration & Overseeding: Best suited for the fall, aeration allows a tired lawn to recover. During aeration, we mechanically break through the thatch layer in your lawn to remove a 2-3 inch core of soil. As the core breaks down, nutrients as well as air and water penetrate the newly made holes. In conjunction with aeration, overseeding is used to distribute new seed varieties to your lawn. Doing such not only enhances its resistance in vary weather but also adds to the density of your lawn.

Fertilization: Best applied three times throughout the season, once in spring, summer, and fall, fertilization in the most important aspect of a lush, healthy lawn. Application in spring rejuvenates a lawn which lost its nutrients during the winter. Summer application helps to beat the summer droughts and heat by thickening and producing new roots and shoots. The final application in fall allows your lawn the store nutrients and keep a surplus to last it throughout the impending winter.

Pre-Emergent Crabgrass Control: Best applied in the spring, pre-emergent crabgrass control prevents crabgrass, foxtail, and other pesky annual grasses from growing during the season.

Broadleaf Weed Control: Best applied in both spring and fall, broadleaf weed control consists of post-emergent herbicides. These herbicides controls broadleaf weeds such as clovers, algae, sorrel, thistle, and mustard.

Insect Control: Best suited for the spring, insect control kills insects such as cinch bugs, sod webworms, and bill bugs. These and other bugs are proven to be detrimental to healthy lawns.

Lime: Best applied in the fall, liming neutralizes the pH of your soil. Turf thrives in soil pH that is neutral to slightly acidic such as the pH of water. Too much acidity in lawns is the result of rainwater, plant uptake, chemicals, and extended use of fertilizers.
